View answerIssues relating to pay in the Institute were subject to an internal job evaluation exercise which was carried out by Price Waterhouse Coopers and which was intended to establish the correct rate of pay for grades in the Tyndall National Institute. At the outset the parties agreed that the conclusions of the job evaluation exercise could be appealed on an individual basis to an independent Appeals Officer and these appeals are currently being considered.
