Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he will remain responsible for Leader, the social inclusion and community activation programme and the scheme to support national organisations; and if not, the Minister who will assume primary responsibility. Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government

Responsibility for the LEADER programme has transferred to the Minister for Arts, Heritage & the Gaeltacht.

Responsibility for the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) and other community-related functions, including the scheme to support national organisations, remains with my Department.
