Deputy Pat Breen asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine further to Parliamentary Question No. 199 of 14 April 2016, the status of an application by a person (details supplied) under the young farmer capital investment scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Following a review of the circumstances of this case the application under the Young Farmer Capital Investment Scheme has been processed. It will be sent to the local office shortly for final technical checks prior to approval.
