194. Deputy Seán Haughey asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he will sanction a building project at a school (details supplied) to enable it to open another class for children with autism; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17013/16]
View answerI can confirm that the school referred to by the Deputy has submitted an application for additional accommodation to establish a second class for pupils with autism. The application is currently being considered and a decision will be conveyed to the school authority as soon as this process has been finalised.
