Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Health the annual cost of the drug payment scheme; the annual number of beneficiaries of the scheme; the number of individual monthly claims, in each of the years from 2011 to 2016 to date, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerUnder the Health (Pricing and Supply of Medical Goods) Act 2013, the HSE has statutory responsibility for the administration of the primary care schemes; therefore, the matter has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to you.
