76. Deputy Paul Kehoe asked the Minister for Finance if a person (details supplied) can receive a statement confirming that the person has no tax liabilities for the purpose of the processing of a medical card application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18955/16]
View answerI am advised by Revenue that as a number of tax returns are outstanding from the person concerned, a tax clearance certificate will not be issued. The person concerned should contact his local Revenue District with a view to regularising matters following which an application for tax clearance can be considered.
