Deputy Paul Kehoe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the status of an application by a person (details supplied) under the 2016 scheme of investment aid for the development of the commercial horticulture sector; when the decision will be made on the application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerFollowing assessment of all applications under the 2016 Scheme of Investment Aid for the Development of the Commercial Horticulture Sector, a letter of grant approval was issued, on 29 February 2016, to a person (details supplied). Subsequently this applicant accepted the offer of grant approval, in writing, on 8 March 2016.
In order to be eligible for the grant aid awarded, all investments included in the approval must be completed and a claim for payment of aid, including all supporting documentation, submitted to the Department not later than 30 September 2016. The applicant is aware of these conditions.
