Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the average payment per animal under the suckler welfare scheme; the number of participants; the total funds allocated and drawn down under the suckler welfare scheme; the funds allocated and drawn down in each year of the scheme's existence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is currently compiling the data requested by the Deputy. The relevant files have now been archived given that the Scheme is closed. Once the required data has been retrieved, the figures will be forwarded to the Deputy under separate cover.
