700. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when a 2015 basic payment scheme payment will issue to a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21199/16]
View answerThe person named submitted an application for the 2015 Basic Payment Scheme which was received in the Department on 18 April 2016. As the application was not submitted within the prescribed period, a 100% late penalty applies and therefore no payment is due. The person named has been informed of this decision and advised of the appeal option available to him.
