Deputy Margaret Murphy O'Mahony asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the total catch landed in tonnage, and the value of the catch landed at all regional ports on an annual basis for the period 2010 to 2016 to date in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Sea Fisheries Protection Authority is the body within the State responsible for data recording and reporting on the landings of sea fish by Irish Sea Fishing Boats. I have asked the Authority to respond directly to the Deputy with the data requested.
