432. Deputy Jack Chambers asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if, in addition to sports capital grants, there are any alternative grants available to sports clubs; to outline any such grants; if there are grants available for coaching programmes for soccer clubs; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have referred the Deputy's question to Sport Ireland for information on any relevant grants that might be available through its grant funding programmes. I have asked Sport Ireland to reply directly to the Deputy on this matter. I would ask the Deputy to inform my office if a reply is not received within 10 days.
