702. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the status of an appeal by a person (details supplied) under the sheep technology adoption programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23480/16]
View answerIn order to qualify for payment under the 2015 Sheep Technology Adoption Programme participants were required to attend five meetings and satisfactorily complete two tasks. In the absence of confirmation of satisfactory completion of these requirements payment did not issue in this case. However following a review of the case including confirmation of completion of the required tasks payment will now issue directly to the nominated bank account of the person named.
