Deputy Louise O'Reilly asked the Minister for Health to provide details of the moneys being spent on private ambulance services in the State in each of the past five years; the moneys being spent on private ambulance services in terms of transport services and intermediate care services in the State in each of the past five years; the moneys being spent on private ambulance services broken down by HSE region and also by hospital for each of the past five years; the moneys spent on private ambulance services broken down by company and private ambulance service provider; if he will provide this information in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
