Deputy Colm Brophy asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality if Ireland has transposed and implemented into Irish law the Council Framework Decision 2008/919/JHA of 28 November 2008 amending Framework Decision 2002/475/JHA on combatting terrorism; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The European Union Council Framework Decision 2008/919/JHA has been given effect to in Irish law by the Criminal Justice (Terrorist Offences)(Amendment) Act 2015 which was passed by this House in May 2015.
