1499. Deputy Brian Stanley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason for the delay in payments to farmers who have been approved for TAMS, for tranches 1 and 2, and if he will consider extending TAMS to the tillage sector. [24369/16]

The online TAMS payment claims system is open and all valid payment claims for works carried out in Tranches 1 and 2 of TAMS II are being processed. The new tillage measure under TAMS II will be available in due course.
