Deputy David Cullinane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the figure for the annual capital spend on the development and upgrading of harbours for fisheries listed by harbour and year for each of the years 2008 to 2015; and the budget allocation for 2016 for capital spend on the development and upgrading of harbours for fisheries listed by harbour. My Department annually administers the Fishery Harbour and Coastal Infrastructure Capital Development Programme. This Programme funds capital works at the six State-owned Fishery Harbour Centres, located at Castletownbere, Dingle, Dunmore East, Howth, Killybegs and Ros An Mhíl. Table 1 below details the voted capital expenditure listed by harbour for the State-owned Fishery Harbour Centres for each of the years 2008 to 2015. The budget allocation for 2016 for capital spends on the development and upgrading of these six Fishery Harbour Centres is €11,179,000.
