1571. Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the amount of State funding provided to Bord na gCon for each of the past five years; and the numbers employed and amount of this funding which went on wages and salaries. [25699/16]

Bord na gCon is a commercial State body, established in 1958 under the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958, chiefly to control greyhound racing and to improve and develop the greyhound industry. The following table lists funding provided to Bord na gCon through the Horse and Greyhound Racing Fund for the past five years.
