Deputy Brendan Ryan asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the number of Science Foundation Ireland investigator awards that have been on the reserve list and the number that were funded in each of the years since 2010; if she expects to be in a position to fund those on the 2016 reserve list; and if she will make a statement on the matter. No decision on funding the projects on the 2016 Reserve List has been taken by SFI. A decision will be taken before the year end and it will depend on whether sufficient funds are available to SFI to fund such proposals and any other reserve lists under other programmes.
