Deputy Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire asked the Minister for Education and Skills if his Department has identified a site for a school (details supplied) identified to open in Cork city south environs; if his Department has agreed a sale with any landowners in connection with any site in the locality; and the date he will be in a position to make an announcement regarding the location for the site. A site acquisition process for the school referred to by the Deputy is underway. A site option has been identified and it is being actively progressed. Given the commercial sensitivities associated with land acquisitions generally, I am not in a position to comment further at this time.
