538. Deputy Niall Collins asked the Minister for Education and Skills the total spend on apprenticeship training and a breakdown between the total number of male and female apprentices in training by each employment sector and sub sector in each of the years since 2010 in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The information requested in respect of the total spend on apprenticeship for the years 2010 to 2016 has already been supplied to the Deputy in answer to Question 101 of 6 July 2016.

I have forwarded the request for the male/female breakdown of apprentices to SOLAS and asked them to respond directly to the Deputy with the information.
