Donnelly asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if the Office of Public Works has appointed a building contractor with regard to the new Greystones Coast Guard station; if a timeframe has been put in place for the delivery of the station; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Tenders received by OPW for the proposed construction of a Coast Guard Station at Greystones, County Wicklow, are under consideration in conjunction with the Irish Coast Guard Service and the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, as client, and a decision is expected imminently.
