Questions (885)

Clare Daly

Question:

885. Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform to outline his plans to review the spouses' and children's pension payment, specifically the mandatory nature of payment into the scheme for all public servants regardless of marital status or whether they have children, in light of the fact that this matter was last reviewed 16 years ago, in 2000, by the Commission on Public Service Pensions.
