918. Deputy Fergus O'Dowd asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the plans the OPW have for Westgate House (details supplied) in Drogheda which was acquired by the OPW in Drogheda and is now in a very dilapidated state and located in a historic town centre site; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Westgate House is currently vacant, however, the carpark to the rear is leased to Drogheda Town Council under licence. Recently OPW officials have discussed the condition of the building with Louth County Council who have agreed to redecorate the facade of the building.
