Question:

21. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality further to Parliamentary Question No. 175 of 16 September 2016, the reason her Department breached the terms and conditions of its own regulations in an office notice 04/2013 when implementing same; and if the conditions have been breached with regard to her Department's customer service charter, the address which is offered to persons affected by these alleged breaches. Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality

As indicated to the Deputy previously, the management of staff and issues arising is a matter for my Department's Secretary General and his officials. I do not have a role in this regard.

However, I am advised by my officials that they have been in correspondence with the individual concerned and their legal representative and have responded in relation to the matters at issue.
