Pearse Doherty

Question:

528. There is no record retained for the date of receipt of this application. In view of this, it is difficult to ascertain the date the letter was received. However, it is normal practice for certificates of compliance to be issued on the day of receipt of an application. In this case, it may be that there was a delay in delivery of the letter due to the fact that Monday 1 June 2015 was a Bank Holiday. Only registered post guarantees delivery within a particular timeframe and the letter in question was not registered.
