Deputy Eamon Scanlon asked the Minister for Education and Skills the status of a proposal submitted by a school (details supplied) to purchase an adjoining site for development to replace prefabs with permanent rooms; when they can expect a decision on same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerI can confirm to the Deputy that my Department is currently considering an application for additional accommodation from the ETB in respect of the school referred to. The application, for replacement accommodation and a Special Class provision is currently being assessed and my Department will be in contact with the ETB in the matter shortly.
