View answerAny payments arising from the Basic Payment Scheme are due to the Estate of the deceased applicant and not to the person named. Officials from the Inheritance Enquiry Unit of my Department have written to the legal personal representatives of the deceased applicant requesting the usual testamentary documents and bank account details to which the payments should be released. We await further instruction on the matter and when all outstanding documentation is received the outstanding payments can issue to the estate of the deceased applicant.
