524. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine further to Parliamentary Question No. 596 of 18 October 2016, if he will provide a breakdown in monetary terms of the total amount of funding being provided from balance sheet support from the SBCI and COSME EU Financial Instrument in the make up of the new €150 million agriloan fund announced in Budget 2017; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the SBCI that they and COSME are not providing funding but are providing 50% of the guarantee required to underpin the flexibility and bring down the cost of the loans within the €150 million fund. More details of the loan fund will be announced shortly.
