112. Deputy Catherine Connolly asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the amount of rent he is paying for every Intreo centre in the country (in tabular form); the terms of the leases; the nature of the contracts; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [32332/16]
View answerThe Department of Social Protection delivers Intreo services from a number of premises leased by the Commissioners of Public Works. Summary details of the leases are set out in the Table below.
In locations where the Department does not occupy 100% of the space leased by the Commissioners, the rental figure has been reduced pro-rata to reflect the rent attributable to the Intreo Centre. Certain aspects of leases are commercially sensitive, but if the Deputy has specific queries regarding any of the properties listed, the Commissioners would be happy to provide further information.
