130. Deputy James Browne asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange to have the tax affairs of a person (details supplied) dealt with in the local tax office in order to allow the person to claim an old age pension. [33859/16]
View answerI am advised by Revenue that there has been ongoing engagement with the person concerned and his agent as regards the measures that are needed in order for the person to bring his tax affairs up to-date. The resolution of these matters will facilitate the person in claiming an old age pension. Revenue will make further contact with the person concerned with a view to progressing the matter to a satisfactory resolution.
