Deputy Seán Haughey asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he will make funding available to a school (details supplied) to allow it to install a lift, a ramp, a wheelchair-friendly entrance and an additional wheelchair-friendly toilet in order that the college can be easily accessed by the disabled; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department's Planning and Building Unit has no record of receiving an application for funding from the school to which the Deputy refers.  If such an application is received it will be fully considered and a decision will issue directly to the school authority.
