752. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the number of vacancies currently on each board and State agency under the remit of her Department; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [37173/16]
View answerThere are currently two vacancies on State Boards that come within my Department's remit, both of which are on the Board of IAASA. In this regard, there is one position for a Chairperson, for which a shortlist was recently submitted by the Public Appointments Service (PAS) to me. The selected candidate is now to meet with the Joint Oireachtas Committee for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation before I conclude the appointment process. The second vacancy, a Ministerial nominee, will be filled following public advertisement and recruitment process conducted by PAS.
