186. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection the reason payment of rent allowance has been delayed in the case of a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [38197/16]

The Rent Supplement payment for the client concerned is due to be released today. Rent supplement for this client will be paid out on the last Tuesday of every month.

I trust that this clarifies the issue for the Deputy.
