135. Deputy Peter Fitzpatrick asked the Minister for Social Protection the status of a domiciliary allowance application in respect of a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [38905/16]
View answerThis lady was notified on the 1st December 2016 that her domiciliary care allowance has been awarded from 1st September 2016. The first payment of the allowance, along with arrears due, will issue on the 20th December 2016. I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
