Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality when a decision will be made on an application for funding to the Commission for the Support of Victims of Crime by a group (details supplied); if this will include funding for a full-time worker; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality

My Department is currently considering applications for funding for victims of crime for 2017. I am aware of the organisation's application, and it is my intention that all organisations that have applied for funding will be notified of the decision on their application before the end of the year.
