Deputy Aindrias Moynihan asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the different stages of the Garda building and refurbishment programme 2016-2021; the stage the proposed development of Macroom Garda station is at; and if negotiations have been completed on a proposed site. Minister of State at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform

The OPW has completed the acquisition of the proposed site in Macroom for a new Garda station. It has been decided to deliver this Station by means of a Public Private Partnership (PPP), to be managed by the Dept. of Justice and Equality and the NDFA.
