Deputy Niall Collins asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality the details of the use of external public relations firms employed by her Department per annum since March 2011 in tabular form; the list of uses of the external public relations firm; the internal Department policy with regard to employing external groups; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality

It is my Department's policy to use in-house resources as much as possible and to restrict the use of external support to a minimum. My Department has not incurred any cost in relation to the provision of public relations services since March 2011.
