Deputy Thomas Pringle asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the particular circumstances in the case of persons (details supplied) and the urgent need for them to access appropriate care in the UK which is not available here; the action that can be taken in this particular situation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The particular issue raised by the Deputy is a service matter for the Health Service Executive. Accordingly I have arranged for the question to be referred to the Health Service Executive for direct reply to the Deputy.
