236. Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Social Protection the status of an application for a disability allowance in respect of a person (details supplied); and when the person can expect a decision on their case. [40737/16]
View answerI confirm that my Department is in receipt of an application for disability allowance from this man. On 5 December 2016 the person concerned was requested to supply supporting documentation in order to finalise the claim. On receipt of this information a decision will be made and the person concerned will be notified directly in writing of the outcome. I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
