481. Deputy Eamon Scanlon asked the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government the status of a Part 8 planning application in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Sligo; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [41652/16]

I have no function in relation to the operation by local authorities of the Part 8 approval process for development which they themselves propose to undertake. I understand that Sligo County Council has completed the Part 8 process in relation to the case referred to.
