Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government if an application for funding in respect of the phase 2 Clúid housing project for Letterfrack has been approved; if not, when it is likely this application will be considered and a decision made on same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The assessment of a proposal for the provision of 11 new social units by Cluid Housing Association, as a second phase development at Letterfrack, County Galway, will be finalised shortly. I therefore expect to be in a position to convey a decision to Galway County Council within the next two weeks.
