A circular setting out the revised salary rates applicable from 1 April 2017 to general Civil Service grades, including Secretaries General, is currently in preparation and will be issued by my Department in due course.

As the Deputy may be aware, under the provisions of the Financial Emergency Measures in the Public Interest Act 2015 (FEMPI Act 2015), those on salaries in excess of €110,000 shall have the salary reductions imposed under the FEMPI Act 2013 restored in three equal phases on 1 April 2017, 1 April 2018 and 1 April 2019.
