117. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Education and Skills the status of a school building project (details supplied) in County Donegal; if a design team has now been appointed to the project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3300/17]
View answerThe major building project for the school referred to by the Deputy is currently awaiting the appointment of a Design Team. This process of appointment is expected to commence this week. My Department's officials will be in contact directly with the Board of Management regarding the next steps in the process. This project was included in the six year programme announced in November 2015 and is scheduled therein to proceed to tender and construction in 2019-21.
