79. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the timeframe for the completion and full opening of Killarney House; her plans for 2017; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3843/17]
View answerThe restored gardens at Killarney House opened to huge public acclaim in April 2016. The interpretation/exhibition programme and installation for Killarney House and the National Park is advancing and I expect that it will be completed in the coming months. It is intended that the exhibition will open to the public during the tourism season and that the historic rooms of the House will be open too during the course of the year.
