183. Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Education and Skills the status of a request from a school (details supplied) to purchase land adjacent to the school to alleviate parking and congestion outside the school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4732/17]
View answerI am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has agreed to acquire the property in question. The acquisition has also been agreed with the current landowner. The Chief State Solicitor's Office, acting on behalf of my Department, is currently progressing the acquisition through the conveyancing stage.
