Deputy Tony McLoughlin asked the Minister for Education and Skills if community and comprehensive schools are required to appoint an external person or body to audit, verify and assess school equipment such as computers, desks, chairs, lockers and so on, in order to stock-take for a school; if so, the processes or procedures he has put in place regarding the appointment of such assessors; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
