Deputy Imelda Munster asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his attention has been drawn to the fact that Drogheda Port Company has invested a substantial sum in its 50% stevedoring subsidiary; the amount the State through the Drogheda Port Company originally invested by way of shares in the subsidiary; the amount currently due by way of long-term credit extending back to 2002; the repayments which have been made in the past five years on this long-term debt, which dates back to 2002; the amount of a provision, which has been made against both this share investment and the other amounts due to the port company by the subsidiary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
