Officials from my Department have met with representatives of this organisation and have regular contact with the Organisation.
Regarding the obtaining of charity status this is a matter for the Charities Regulatory Authority which in accordance with Section 14(3) of the Charities Act 2009 is independent in the performance of its functions.
