Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality the legal fees incurred on freedom of information, FOI, requests received by her Department; the staff hours involved in the processing of FOI requests for the past three years; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department has not incurred any legal fees in relation to Freedom of Information requests for the time frame specified. Dealing with Freedom of Information is part of the daily work of staff across my Department so the time spent processing such requests is not recorded separately.
