Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Social Protection the tribunals established under the Tribunals of Inquiry (Evidence) Acts, 1921 to 2011, in tabular form; the number of days each tribunal sat for; the gross cost of each tribunal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Tribunals of inquiry are established by resolution of the Houses of the Oireachtas to inquire into matters of urgent public importance.

The Department of Social Protection has not been responsible for any such tribunals of inquiry.
